Hello, friends. Sorry I haven't been around much. Life has been hectic... really really hectic. Haven't had much time to get inky and, as a result, my craft room in a suspended state of disarray!
But I managed to create a quickie: a notecard featuring a gorgeous butterfly from Chocolate Baroque's Patchwork Butterfly A4 sheet. It's a simple card, not time-consuming and perfect to accompany a gift for a special person. The finished project measures 2 1/2" x 4 1/2".
I stamped the butterfly on the edge of the card, coloured him with Polychromos and cut around his wing. And every butterfly deserves a garden, so I stencilled one for him using TCW Daisy stencil and Spun Sugar Distress Ink. The sentiment is from the Words to Dazzle and Sparkle A5 sheet, stamped with Archival Jet Black. And yes, I've added 3 little blings on his wings.
I continued with the stencilled background on the inside of the card.

I made a card for a friend's birthday using stamps from Altnew's Dahlia Blossoms sheet. The ink stains in Salty Ocean Distress Ink makes the blossoms pop. I heat embossed the greeting with WOW Gold Rich EP and finished the project with droplets of Mint Liquid Pearls.
Here is a closer look at the dahlias.
Now it's your turn to link up your project for the Anything Goes challenge. You can make anything you like. I looking forward to seeing your projects.

I made a simple card using images from the Tea Timedigital stamp set. After colouring the cups, I fussy cut them and stacked them. There is a stacked image but I wanted 5 cups arranged my way!

Hello, friends! Oh my goodness! Is it June already?! Yikes! Don't panic. Just focus on the positive - it's the start of a new month and lot's more crafting opportunities ahead.
So let's get this party going with a dreamy, pastel candy floss inspired Art Journal page. I made a conscious effort not to use strong vibrant colours and experiment with soft pastel and this is the result:
The butterflies, coloured with Copics, are from the Just Butterflies DL sheet. I cut them out and adhered to the page with Ranger Multi Medium. I added some white dots and slapped on Stardust Stickles. That lovely sentiment is from Butterfly Dreams A4 sheet, stamped with Archival Jet Black ink.
The little dragonfly silhouette is from the Butterfly Blush DL sheet, stamped with Archival Dandelion ink. To add some background interest, I stamped the leafy stalk fromBriar Rose ButterflyA5 sheet, with Archival French Ultramarine ink. The script from Mini ScriptsA6 sheet, stamped with Archival Magenta Hue ink.
The white swirly design is from the Patchwork ButterflyA4 sheet, stamped with Folk Art Acrylic Paint in Wicker White #901. I also splashed some watered down paint to the background. And yes... I added sequins. Don't ask why.
The background was fun to create. As always, I primed the page with Faber Castell Gesso and when completely slapped on Folk Art Acrylic Paint in Rose Pink #632, Baby Pink #633, Cameo Blush #4657, French Vanilla #431 and Linen #420. I also did some stencilling with TCW Mini Daisy Cluster and Folk Art Acrylic Paint in Hot Pink #634. And to finish, droplets of Petal Pink Liquid Pearls.
So that's another Art Journal page done. It's been one year since I started this journey and I'm still learning and experimenting. And loving every minute. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a lovely day.
